We know what stigma looks like
It isolates us from friends, partners, and communities.
It makes people feel unseen, unheard, and unworthy.
It robs people of dignity, hope, and opportunity.
Your Voice Matters

The Impact of Stigma
Healthcare denied: Less than 10% of people who need treatment actually receive it.
Families fractured: About 1 in 4 American children have a parent struggling with addiction.
Opportunities lost: Addiction is ranked as one of the most stigmatized conditions, 62% will work with someone who has a mental illness, whereas only 22% will work with someone who has a drug addiction.
“Addiction is far too powerful for anyone to defeat alone. But together, one day at a time, we can beat it down”
– Matthew Perry
