When Purpose Meets Action

The Matthew Perry Foundation’s CEO, Lisa Kasteler Calio, named TIME 100 Most Influential People in Philanthropy 2026. Today our work is being recognized on one of the largest stages in the world. Every day we challenge the stigma that keeps people from getting the care they deserve. We expand access to treatment rooted in dignity and compassion. We continue to strengthen pathways to recovery where not long ago there were none. Our work has been noticed. This moment is a reflection of what we’ve built together. But it’s also a reflection of something deeper: Our belief that addiction is a disease. Our belief that people deserve care, not judgment. Our belief that when we come together with purpose, we can change the way the world responds to this crisis. So yes, we’re proud and grateful for this moment. We’re clear about what it means. It means we’re on the right path. It means this work matters. And it means we will keep showing up fully, boldly, and unapologetically. Because too many lives depend on it.
