Lisa Kasteler-Calio
Executive Director/Board Member
Lisa Kasteler-Calio is the Executive Director and board member of the Matthew Perry Foundation, where she has led the organization's development from its inception. Under her guidance, the Foundation has established a dedicated team, launched impactful programs, and organized events aimed at supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorder.
With a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care, Lisa has been instrumental in expanding the Foundation's reach and effectiveness. Her leadership has been pivotal in forming strategic partnerships that align with the Foundation's mission to provide sustainable recovery advocacy.
Lisa is fiercely protective of Matthew’s legacy, having worked with him for nearly three decades. She has a clear vision of his mission for the Foundation: to help as many people as possible who battle the disease. After his passing, she knew it was imperative to fulfill Matthew's dream of a Foundation dedicated to aiding those struggling with substance use disorder. With dedication, passion, and empathy, Lisa Kasteler-Calio leads the Matthew Perry Foundation in making a meaningful difference in the lives of many, removing the stigmas and barriers that prevent them from receiving compassionate care.
Doug Chapin
Board President
Doug Chapin began his career in the entertainment business as an actor at the age of 13. He went on to produce many films for television and theatrical release, most notably "When a Stranger Calls," "Love! Valour! Compassion!" and "What's Love Got to Do With It." He also excelled as a talent manager, representing renowned stars such as Carol Kane, Angela Bassett, and Matthew Perry. His professional journey with Matthew Perry blossomed into a deep-rooted Friendship spanning over three decades.
Doug's unique bond with Matthew offers our Foundation an invaluable perspective, providing insight into Matthew's aspirations and vision. With a genuine understanding of Matthew's recovery mission, Doug is poised to guide us in honoring his legacy and shaping the Foundation's future. His unwavering commitment, warmth, and empathy make Doug Chapin an essential and cherished member of our board.
Lisa Ferguson
Treasurer/Secretary/Board Member
Lisa Ferguson is a Managing Director at Provident Financial Management, LLC, a business management and accounting firm that specializes in comprehensive financial management for both personal and professional clients, primarily in the entertainment industry. This is where she built a personal relationship with Matthew Perry. Her role at Provident Financial has solidified her reputation as a trusted financial advisor to many high-profile clients.
Before joining Provident Financial in 2017, Lisa founded and served as CEO of Premier Business Management, Inc., where she developed extensive expertise in royalty analysis and business management. She co-authored a paper on "Performing Rights Royalties for Jingle Writers" in This Business of Music in 1985.
Lisa’s commitment to philanthropy is demonstrated through her pro bono work for various nonprofit organizations. She has served on the board of Los Angeles Youth Network and worked as an accountant for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. As a board member of the Matthew Perry Foundation, Lisa leverages her extensive financial expertise and dedication to supporting charitable causes to help further the Foundation's mission of aiding substance use disorder survivors.
Peter Levine
Board Member
Peter Levine has been a motion picture talent agent at the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for over 25 years, where he helps put together movies utilizing the actor, actress, director, writer, and producer clients that CAA represents and develops career strategies for his own star clients, which included over two decades of representing Matthew Perry.
Prior to his joining CAA in 1999, Levine was a Vice President at the William Morris Agency for six years and before that, Vice President of J. Michael Bloom and Associates in both L.A. and New York.
Paul F. Mayersohn
Board Member
Paul F. Mayersohn is a dedicated legal professional and Partner at Surpin, Mayersohn and Coghill, LLP. Throughout his extensive career, Paul has specialized in the entertainment industry, representing high-end talent and production companies. His expertise spans various roles in film financing, including production, distribution, and legal counsel, making significant contributions to the industry.
Paul's commitment to the entertainment industry is highlighted by his representation of high-profile actors, including Matthew Perry. His dedication to the industry extends to sponsoring and moderating the Independent Film Financing Conference, demonstrating his passion for supporting the independent film community.
Rebecca Marks
Board Member
Rebecca Marks is a highly respected communications executive with a distinguished career spanning nearly four decades in television publicity, communications, and social media. She currently serves as Executive Vice President of Publicity, Communications & Social Media for Warner Bros. Television Group, where she oversees strategic communications and promotional efforts for the Studio’s extensive slate of scripted, unscripted, and animated programming.
Before joining Warner Bros. in 2021, Rebecca spent 37 years at NBCUniversal, leading publicity campaigns for some of television’s most iconic series, including Friends, The Office, This Is Us, The Voice, and Saturday Night Live. She played a pivotal role in NBC’s late-night transition from Jay Leno to Jimmy Fallon and has been instrumental in shaping media strategies for both network and streaming platforms.
Rebecca’s expertise and leadership have earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Ben Halpern Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024. Her passion for storytelling and commitment to impactful communication make her an invaluable addition to the Matthew Perry Foundation’s board, where she helps amplify the Foundation’s mission to break the stigma surrounding substance use disorder and expand access to compassionate care.
Robert Hertzberg
Board Member
A Los Angeles native, Robert Hertzberg served as both the Speaker of the California State Assembly (unanimously elected by both parties in 2000 and 2002) and Majority Leader of the California State Senate (2019-2021).
Hertzberg is known for taking on the biggest and most challenging issues facing California, and for brokering some of the toughest negotiations. In the words of one veteran Sacramento columnist, he is “an intense bundle of energy, an all-night negotiator." The Los Angeles Times said, "Heis a high-velocity wonk; he loves big ideas and will flesh out every one of them if you give him a chance." The Los Angeles Daily News said he "has relentless dedication and indefatigable energy...he has a reputation for integrity and perseverance." Google characterized Hertzberg as "one of the most talented and respected legislators ever to come out of the California State Assembly."

Dr. Andrew Herring
Founder, Principal Investigator
Dr. Andrew Herring is an Attending Emergency Physician and Associate Director of Research at Highland Hospital–Alameda Health System. He also serves as Medical Director of the hospital’s substance use disorder treatment program and is an expert in emergency department treatment for opioid use disorder. Dr. Herring is board-certified in emergency medicine, addiction medicine, and pain medicine, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF. A former Fulbright Scholar, he completed his medical training at Harvard Medical School and Highland Hospital.
Dr. Sarah E. Wakeman
Medical Director, Substance Use Disorder,
Mass General Brigham
Dr. Sarah Wakeman is the Medical Director for Substance Use Disorder at Mass General Brigham and an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. She leads addiction treatment initiatives at Massachusetts General Hospital and serves as program director for the hospital’s addiction medicine fellowship. Dr. Wakeman is board-certified in addiction medicine and has helped shape national policies on addiction treatment. She completed her medical training at Brown University and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Scotti Schecter is the founder of Sober Companions and an internationally recognized expert in intervention, addiction, mental health, and trauma. With over two decades of experience, Scotti is known for his compassionate, discreet support of high-profile clients and families navigating recovery. Raised in the entertainment industry and a former musician, he brings a unique perspective to his work. Scotti’s leadership has made Sober Companions a trusted resource for individualized care during crisis and transition. He is a strong advocate for “paying it forward,” and is dedicated to charitable work, and is a strong advocate for long-term recovery.
Dan Stevenson
Advocate and Counselor, Addiction Recovery and Mental Health
Dan Stevenson has a background in finance, real estate, and international markets, and his personal experience with addiction recovery has deeply informed his advocacy work. Having stayed at Matthew Perry’s home during his recovery, Dan brings a unique perspective on the importance of peer support. In addition to his advocacy, he is a licensed clinical professional counselor specializing in addiction, mental health, and life transitions. Dan is actively involved with charitable organizations focused on addiction treatment and mental health awareness, working to expand access to recovery resources and support.
Meagan Holiday
Co-Founder, Life of the Party; On-Air Personality, KROQ
Meagan Holiday is an on-air personality at KROQ, where she has connected with listeners and interviewed leading artists since 2010. Drawing from her own experience in addiction recovery, Meagan is committed to supporting others and raising awareness about substance use issues. In 2023, she co-founded Life of the Party, a nonprofit dedicated to distributing Narcan and educating the public on opioid overdose prevention. Through her work in radio and her advocacy efforts, Meagan is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community and helping save lives.

Annett Wolf is a veteran publicist and co-founder of Wolf Kasteler, a leading bi-coastal entertainment public relations firm established in 1991. With over 30 years of experience, she has managed publicity campaigns for award-winning talent across film, television, literature, fashion, and beauty. Annett is known for her strategic expertise in personal publicity, awards consulting, and social impact initiatives. She is a dedicated supporter of Oceana and plays an active role in advancing the Matthew Perry Foundation’s mission to expand access to compassionate care and support meaningful change.

Graehme Morphy is Executive Producer of The Jennifer Hudson Show and manager to Jennifer Hudson. He began his career at Wolf Kasteler, where he became a partner in 2018. Graehme has extensive experience working with personal, social impact, and corporate clients, and was instrumental in developing the firm’s social impact and corporate divisions.
